Technical Skills:

Machine Operation:

Proficiency in setting up, operating, and adjusting laminating machines according to specifications.

Material Handling:

Ability to load materials onto the machine, ensuring proper positioning and alignment for accurate lamination.

Quality Control:

Monitoring the lamination process to identify and report any defects or issues with the laminated products.

Troubleshooting:

Identifying and resolving minor mechanical problems and reporting major issues to the maintenance team or supervisor.

Maintenance:

Performing routine maintenance tasks like cleaning and lubricating the machinery to ensure reliability. 

Mechanical Skills:

Mechanical Aptitude: Understanding how the machine works and having the ability to troubleshoot and repair basic mechanical issues. 

Blueprint Reading: Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to understand material specifications and production requirements. 

Hand Tool Proficiency: Using hand tools for minor repairs and adjustments. 

Soft Skills:

Attention to Detail: Maintaining a high level of focus and precision to ensure the quality of the laminated products. 

Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving issues that arise during the lamination process efficiently. 

Communication: Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to maintain production standards and report any problems. 

Teamwork: Working collaboratively with other operators and team members to meet production goals. 

Ability to follow instructions: Adhering to safety protocols, procedures, and production schedules. 

Physical Stamina: Being able to stand for long periods and lift materials as needed. 

Minimum requirements: 

• A high school diploma or equivalent.

·    A minimum of one year working with PLC panels operating laminating machines or similar equipment.

• Ability to use basic math and measuring skills.

• Ability to organize tasks and ensure timely completion of assigned work.

• Able to read and understand written and verbal instructions.

• Communicate effective and professionally (both verbally and in writing) with others inside and outside the organization.

• Requires a very high level of attention to detail.

• Standing on a regular basis for a minimum of 8 hours per shift.

• Ability to work overtime and weekend schedules.

• Receiving tasks:
• Unloading shipments and physically inspecting items for quantity, quality, and condition.  
• Verifying shipments against purchase orders or invoices and accurately entering data into inventory systems.  
• Tagging, labeling, and placing items in storage with proper rotation. 
• Keeping the work area clean, reporting discrepancies or damage, and following safety procedures.  
• Shipping tasks (when combined):
• Preparing outbound shipments, printing labels, processing freight, and coordinating with drivers or carriers.
